I don’t know where I came from

But I’m glad that I’m here

Sitting in the park

Sipping my ice cold beer

I get a funny feeling

With every sip I take

With hopes the morn will bring me joy

And not a big headache

Winter

The ice the snow the sleet the rain

All of this gives me a pain

But who am I to fuss about

The time of year we cannot do without

For if it wasn’t for winter

There’d be no spring

And that would ruin everything
